I have always loved to draw
and paint. Living in the Wisconsin countryside is a constant inspiration
to me. It seems everywhere I look I see a painting – the patterns
of a fresh cut alfalfa field, hay bales on the horizon, popcorn clouds
dancing in a pink sky. Color and pattern are important to me. I interpret
onto the canvas the energy and colors I feel as I paint. As van Gogh said:
“…real artists paint things not as they are, in a dry analytical
way, but as they feel them.” I paint as I feel.
I have been an exhibiting artist for over 30 years, and have a BFA from
the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. I am represented by several
Wisconsin galleries including: Edgewood Orchard Galleries in Fish Creek,
Grace Chosy Gallery in Madison, Moondeer Gallery in Boulder Junction,
Lake Country Gallery in Pewaukee, Main Street Gallery and Pizazz Gallery
in Cedarburg.
